An old thatched Everards pub with every bit the look and feel of a traditional country pub. As Will mentions below the ambiance was slightly marred by the unnecessary, music though at least the volume wasn't over the top. There are two banks of four handpumps in separate rooms but the beers were duplicated, these were , all from Everards, Tiger, Sunchaser, Old Original and my choice Long Beach which was fine without being outstanding. It's a pleasant pub, certainly the best looking of the day, in a nice position next to the church but not a pub I'd make repeated visits to.
