The Woodmans Stroke, Leicester

A village local and eatery full of rustic charm, multi roomed with two at the front and one at the back, the main counter is in the left hand front room, there’s another in the back room. Four pumps with local brewery Charnwood on one, Bass, Black Sheep Bitter and Sharps Sea Fury on the others, a T-Bar and some solos for the keg fraternity, only three pulls in the back room. There’s a thatched roof, lots of beams and quarry tile floors. Furnished with tables and chairs and decorated with old photos, drawings and documents. It has a large garden at the back. Very pleasant GBG 2025 listed, it’s about a 20 minute walk from the Great Central Railway station.
