The Black Bull is a large pub on the eastern edge of York. This pub has got one very large room inside the bar was facing as you entered and the pub was carpeted throughout.There was a grown up drinking area to the left and family dining to the right and rear this area was very busy with children,babies and people of all ages the grown up side was a lot quieter. This pub is branded as a sizzling pub and has the menu to go with it,on the beer front there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Marstons EPA and this was a really nice drink on a warmish day the other beer was Black Sheep bitter. This is mainly a dining pub but drinkers were made just as welcome. A new travel lodge has been built behind the pub and this probably helps boost custom here.
