Dog and Duck, Wellingborough

The Dog and Duck is a decent sized roadside pub that is situated on a very busy road to the south of the town centre. Once inside there was an L shaped room that was smaller than i thought it would be,the bar was to the rear left,the seating was normal tables and chairs,the room was carpeted. There was a seperate room to the rear right which is now in use as a costa coffee outlet. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Wychwood Full Brazillian which went down very well,the other beer was London Pride. There was background music playing and quite a few people having meals. The pub was quite smart but it seemed more like an hotel bar than a proper pub. Pub visited 21/6/2014
