A two roomed pub owned by Lincoln Green Brewery with each room having a separate identity, one a traditional cask bar the other craft forward with a modern food offering, a good idea but not sure it comes off.Eight hand pumps in the pubbier side with Lincoln Green obviously prevalent, my choice of Lincoln Green Archer Of Doom was fine but not particularly memorable.A decent enough pub though I didn't particularly warm to it.

Now reopened and run by Lincoln Green Brewery in some sort of partnership with Star Inns (Heineken) after a costly refurbishment. The front of the pub is the traditional Lincoln Green White Lion while the rear section is a larger craft oriented bar called the Blackshale Bar & Kitchen.
