Nice beer house, good choice and quality, various spaces still inside

A good beer exhibition pub, with 10 or so handpumps from a good selection of breweries, some local and some from further afield. The decor isn't that great but there are a nice series of different rooms, with a sun patio and a heavily-tabled lawn behind. There is also a large gorilla sculpture in the garden, for no apparent reason.

Lovely Shipstones windows on one side of this double fronted pub with a modernish but sympathetic extension to one side. Multi room interior which still retains Deco features. Ten pulls on the counter, eight running, generally local and small, disturbed only by the presence of 61 Deep. The beer quality is good so the GBG rating might not be related to pump count. Close to a tram stop so useful as a start/finish point on a Beeston crawl.
