The Beacon Hotel, Aspley, Nottingham

The Beacon is a decent sized stand alone pub that was probably built in the 30s when the new estates to the west of Nottingham started to spring up. The pub has got a brewers tudor upper half giving it a fairly nice appearance for this area of Nottingham,once inside the pub had three different rooms we had a dink in the bar which was a fairly nice room the lounge also looked very smart. This pub used to be a Kimberley tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Kimberley bitter and this was a decent drink. I think this pub is still open but i dont know what beers are now on here. Pub first visited 16/10/1982 Photo taken 1984
