The New Inn, Witney

The New Inn is a stone built pub that is a short walk from the main shopping area. Once inside we went into an L shaped room with the bar facing,,the room is carpeted and had comfy bench seating to the front left and normal tables and chairs elsewhere. There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tring Sidepocket which went down well,the other beers noted were Taylor Landlord,Black Sheep,Butts Barbalous and Doom Bar. Background music was playing which was of a bluesey type,probably because the landlord was well into music of that type,there is a very nice outside courtyard to the rear which has a fish pond with some decent sized fish in it. I quite took to this pub,one i could well stay in for a session. Pub visited 16/5/2015
