Bridge Bar & Eating House, Stansted Mountfitchet

As mentioned by others the only landside option for a beer when waiting to pick up arriving passengers at Stansted. Its fit for purpose but that's just about it. A soul less characterless space that you would expect to find at an airport, and would normally be happy with if the developments at the new Heathrow T2, such as the Fullers London Pride pub / restaurant, hadn't raised the bar and shown what can be provided with a little bit of imagination. And the previous reviewers world must be a sad place if Fullers London Pride and GK IPA qualify as the best pints available. As the serving staff here are not name badged I couldn't check if Ben still works behind the bar.

I rather enjoyed my visit to the bridge bar it was a comfortable place to rest whilst awaiting for relatives, all staff were pleasant and all the best pints available. Good ale available and all the best beers here too , good interior, comfy seating and will defiantly visit again on departure of my next holiday
