The Wyndham Arms Hotel (JD Wetherspoon), Bridgend

This is a Spoons Hotel where the ground floor is one of their pubs. It's a large single room with typical furnishings. The bar has two sets of hand pumps with banks of three and six. The three just had Abbot a cider and one unused. The six had RCH Double Header, Deuchar's IPA, Stonehenge Pigswill, Brecon Welsh Beacons, Rhymney Kings Ale and one unused. I went for the Kings Ale (£1.99) which was in very good nick. I thought this was a fairly average Spoons, it is GBG 2015 listed.

When ever I visit Bridgend I always call into Weatherspoons,its fantastic value for money. The last visit my partner and I had a breakfast and it was excellent.There is always a great selection at the bar for real ale drinkers priced at £1.50 a pint sometimes even cheaper.As stated in another review getting served is a drawback,I've seen as many as ten waiting to get served and one behind the bar trying to cope with it all,I put up with this because I'm only there for two pints,I could not drink here as a regular.
