The Old Gaolhouse (JD Wetherspoon), Winchester

A fairly typical ‘spoons, chosen for practical purposes for the day’s meetup. The one thing that set the place apart from the breed, was the incessant drilling, though this clearly didn’t deter the all-day ‘spoons crowd. I didn’t have a drink as it was a bit early for me, so can’t comment on the quality, but given the building work, I’d probably have gone for a Screwdriver.
