BrewDog Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes

Like it's sister pub diagonally across the Boulevard of Broken Dreams this is another glass and steel abomination, although the staff seemed a bit more personable here. It's a Lloyds No. 1 so is open late on Friday and Saturday and has music in the evening. During the day it's rather like going for a drink in an office. On the bar there were two sets of five pumps. One had the two GK beers, Doom Bore, London Pride and the Terrapin American brew by Everard's. The other bank of pumps had three ciders, Hook Norton Lion and a beer available soon. I went for the American Terrapin beer (£2.35) that was in good condition. The Spoons web site says that no sports wear is allowed on Friday and Saturday after 21:00. I assume this means football shirts and the like rather than the bizarre and very bad taste clothing that golfers and snooker players wear.
