A big nightmare. Typical Yates pub. If you like them this is your place. If you don't avoid. Large, open plan, noisy, rubbish, bad ale.

A town centre bar; a corner terrace brick and moulded stone build. It has a beer patio at the back. The interior is open plan and in red, beige and cream decor it seemed, with some wood panel, but it was gloomy in the part i was in, so couldnt tell easily. There was pool, Sky TV and a few arty pictures on the wall, looking a little out of place, like the twigs in the loungey area. Cheap food menus litter the tables and you nip out the front for your fag. The service was functional and the place pretty crowded with a mixed clientele. Beer; all tap stuff, with Yates's Bitter on handpull for £1.39 a pint - i still only had a half - a wise choice, as i couldn't manage it all - pretty poor stuff. A simply awful experience if you care about beer, if you don't, its cheap.
