Qudos, Salisbury

A large single space with a square horseshoe bar in the middle if that makes sense, the room winds back some way each side, one side has regular style tables, many set for dining, the other has the high variety with stools where beyond is a stage and set up for regular evening gigs. The wood panelling has regrettably been painted in some pastel shade of grey but there is a remaining elaborate fireplace also painted alas. So not exactly full of traditional features. A large screen was showing rugby to a few interested punters but otherwise it was a bit quiet on a late Saturday afternoon, I suspect the place fills up later when the bands start. Indeed on walking by later on Saturday on the way to the B&B the place was rocking. Three beers on, Summer Lightning, Doom Bar and Dark Revolution So.Le. An ok spot, time your visit for what you are after, either way I think that you'll get a decent pint.
