The Benjamin Huntsman (JD Wetherspoon), Sheffield

Easy to find just around the back of John Lewis. This Spoons had a good atmosphere about it and had 9 ales on handpump on our visit. The pub featured some industrial looking aircon ducting suspended from the ceiling. There was also a very steep looking staircase leading up to a roof terrace. There was also some framed Sheffield cutlery dotted about here and there, which added some interest. I went for the Greenfield Brewery Copper Cascade and Milestone Cromwells Gold.

This is a Wetherspoons in the city centre,when i went in here the pub was fairly quiet so i sat near the front of the pub. There was the usuall choice oof beers on the bar with a few guest beers aswell i hada one of the guest beers which was a nice drink but i car'nt remember what it was.

Large JDW near the City Hall. Internally it's a strange mix of industrial chic and IKEA-lite furnishings. The advertised garden terrace is spectacularly unspectacular, it's just a patio with a couple of pot plants giving way to a view of a brick wall. There was a good range of guest ales on the go, £1.80p/p. My pint of Acorn Old Moor Porter was very good. Overall, not too bad at all for 'Spoons. Worth popping in to see what's on, it's the best JDW in the city centre for my money (or 50p off vouchers).

Decent enough Wetherspoons, close to the living hell that is West Street, but far enough away to avoid a lot of the muppets. Another big barn but pleasant enough. Had a couple of local guest beers on alongside the regulars. I had a pint of the Acorn White Oak which was very good. Easy enough to get served even on a Saturday evening around 8.
