The Regal Moon is a huge sprawling Wetherspoons pub housed in an old cinema. The long bar stretching down the right-hand wall faces a sea of open plan seating. At the rear is a raised seating area that leads to a split-level patio area out the back. Back inside the pub there are a couple of plasma screens that were showing muted horse racing, which is surprising for a Spoons. As was the presence of a large projector screen, which was unused. The bar is stocked with standard draught and the twelve hand pumps in two banks of six were all drawing different ales. The usual JDW cheap food menu is available and I found the service to be very quick, even though the pub was quite busy, especially for early on a Monday evening. I would return here as this is one of the better Spoons I have visited.

The interior in here is quite vast and a lot larger than I had imagined. They have now refurbished the rear patio garden, which gives this pub even more space. The pub was busy on our Friday afternoon visit and in spite of this, service at the bar was fast and efficient. There was a good selection of cask ales on handpump on our visit, so we went for the Beartown Atlas and the Ilkley Summer. The prices in here were also excellent at £2.15 a pint for our beers.
