Still pretty much the same, maybe fewer knobs of type Rob describes and the sports screens will definitely attract the lower orders. Four pulls but much less Daleside than hitherto, Black Sheep, Adnams and Fullers on this occasion too. Still very much food led.

Pub is as OB describes below, but there's also a large fish tank on the left hand side as you enter. If you sit in this area then the pub is exactly as posh as the decor suggests. The upper class accents around us on a late Sunday afternoon were so posh they were embarrassing. These were locals who lived in the adjoining houses!! Having said that the locals around the bar along with several of their dogs were a lot more mixed bunch. Still all a bit standoffish though. We've been in here quite a few times and unusally they had Great Newsome Pricky Back Oichan on the bar, it's usually Daleside beers as guests. A good pint it was too. They have live music on occasionally, including the Saturday night before we visited. As the upper class (k)nob near us said "I wish they wouldn't, it attracts a much lower class of people". It's OK for one but I wouldn't want to stay here all night.
