Try Dowr (Lloyds No 1), Truro

Try Dowr is a long Lloyds No. 1 with high tables at the front and a long serving counter up the left-hand wall that faces standard seating that runs up the right to a bookcase on the rear wall. Two duplicated banks of five were drawing the usual three suspects alongside St Austell’s Fresh Pot and Burning Sky’s Aurora.

Situated on Truro's main square. We ran i here as it started to piss it down. There is a long oblong shaped room running to the rear where there is a small raised area,the bar is on the front left side. Normal Spoons seating. It was packed on our Monday dinner visit. We had a drink of Skinner Cornish Knocker,which was a decent drink,i could not be bothered to note any other real ales as the pub was so busy. This is one of the worst Wetherspoons i have been in.
