Indigo Alley, Scarborough

Rumour has it that Indigo Alley is currently closed. Just shows what you can achieve if you take the best pub in Scarborough and sell it to S & N. What a bunch of useless muppets.

This used to be a great bar serving well kept real ale. On our last trip to Scarborough (June 2009) I brought six friends up to it. It was a disaster!!(I was later told it had changed hands.) The beer was absolutely vile and the girls with us could not get ice for their vodka's. Keep well away from this bar !!

Visited this place on the way to the North Riding Hotel. I felt a little let down - despite being half an hour before closing there was nobody in and we didnt really see anyone until the barman politely asked if we wanted anymore as it was closing. The decor reminded me of nicotine stains, but i could plainly see the ghost of better days. The beer was reasonable, my mate going back for a final pint. I would certainly go back the next time i was in town
