White Horse, Oxford

Tiny beamed pub, full of Oxford character, bar to one side with cushioned bench seating opposite and in the front window. Low ceiling and wood panelled walls with lots of Morse/Lewis photos (apparently its often featured). Excellent. 5 real ales, kept really well.

Boarded up at the moment. Now due to be demolished for housing.

Tiny pub between the entrances to Blackwell bookshop , you enter down steps to a tiny wood paneled bar , a small alcove in the front window to the left and a short narrow bar area leads to a small snug up steps on way to toilets , and thats it , 6 ales on all well kept , this is a fantastic pub i love it , and the fish and chips are great to

Narrow wood-panelled pub straight out of the past. Good beers and atmosphere.
