Railway Tavern, Crouch End, N8

Visited 07/01/26. Visited previously 21/03/22. Cask was TT LL and the LL Dark, L Pride and Doom Bar. Keg was Neck Oil, Camden Hells & Pale Ale, Madri, Punk IPA, Guinness, Henry Weston's Vintage cider, Amstel, Aspall, Pravha, Estrella Damm. Externally impressive venue. Inside it is bare boarded with the bar counter on the right-hand side, middle / rear part of the venue. There is some tall stool seating at the bar counter. Seating in the front part is a mixture of regular and tall tables. Up a couple of steps to the rear part with a blazing fire in the fire grate on the rear wall. Seating in the rear is similar plus a corner leather banquette in the rear left-hand corner. Lots of wood panelling, leaded glass windows, and framed photos on the walls. Visually an impressive venue but just lacking a bit on the beer front and atmosphere to make this a must visit venue.
