Volunteer Hotel, Sale

The Volunteer is a large grand looking pub that is on the very busy cross street and it is just off the town centre. This pub was very nice inside with carpets and comfortable seating,the pub had been opened out but still had different drinking areas. This pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink and also quite cheap the other beer was Holts mild. I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer if i was'nt on a pub crawl. Pub visited 30/12/2004
