The Swift, Putney, SW15

The barmaid in here didn't look like she wanted to be there, but she was very fast – which is more important! Lots of Pride pumps and one Seafarers alongside standard lagers. I didn't rate the pub much, but it is ok compared to the other offerings I have ventured into in Putney. There are 2 plasma screens and a little background music was on during my visit as the screens were muted. The pub has been done up but I think that it still looks a little tatty. There is a raised dining area at the back of the pub, but what's the deal with the fire exit being camouflaged as a bookcase – My thoughts are that it is a little tacky and a dangerous. To sum up, not great but I've seen a lot worse!

Modern type of pub, darkish interior. Sells real ale, 5 pumps, 4 Pride 1 ESB. Staff friendly. Has wheelchair access.
