The Globe, Glossop

Found this to be a really friendly pub. Good traditional style pub and the drinks were fine.

Traditional pub with pleasant beer garden. Unfortunately the home brewed beer made on the premises is disgusting, completely undrinkable! Would not visit again.

Yes its a must to call in for all you real ale drinkers its own brewery and a lot to go at young girl behind the bar very friendly made me feel welcome will call often when we move there

The Globe is a decent looking stone built pub. When i visited this pub it had Jennings signs outside which pleased me as i hav'nt been in many Jennings pubs,once inside the pub was very smart and comfortable but when i got to the bar there were no real ales on,when i asked the landlord why he said Jennings had sold the pub and he was leaving that week,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which was crap. I was very dissapointed about this pub. Pub visited 30/3/2002
