The New Inn, Selby

Although the service here is friendly and efficient, our experience of the beer wasn't great. An unimaginative offer of Deuchars IPA, Tetleys Cask and John Smiths Cask. I tried the Deuchars and only manged half the pint. The front bar is however a pleasant place to enjoy a drink so if you don't fancy an ale then it's worth a stop.

There is a charming snug entered by the left hand door which is wood pannelled,and well upholstered.There is a seperate serving hatch for the snug and is in stark contrast to the larger back bar which has two plasma screens,well worn and hosts discos,not really suitable for any maiden aunts.Three handpumps with Tetleys,John Smith Cask and Deuchars IPA which became cloudier the more I drank.We didnt stay for a second.
