Hole in the Wall, Southsea

If you do go here, or walk by, do look up at the sign, it has different views of 3 sailors going into the Hole in Wall, one from rear & one from front IYSWIM

A brilliant backstreet pub in Southsea that falls into the must visit catergory. Constantly changing variety of real ales that are well looked after. On my visit I had a pint of 'Easter bunnies' that was well conditioned. The pub extends backwards but is fairly small; the bar area is on a raised section. It wasn't the most chilly of days but the fire was going and it was nice to see. Whether you are coming to drink, eat or both, I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.
