Large modern GK pub.3 GKbeers golden hen,london glory and something else equally bland.Very busy.

A Greene King pub located yes your right next to The Monument. Long narrow pub serving 5 real ales and food.

This was one of the quieter pubs on my travels around the area, but it still took me a while to be served. One ale was off, but Sunchaser, Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen were available alongside Peroni and a selection of standard draught. It's a good sized pub and there were some decent old songs playing, which made a change from the Karaoke that other pubs in the area seemed to be hosting. There are a couple of plasma screens which show Sky Sports, but these were off as there was no sport on. This place is nothing special, but I would have no problem with popping back in if passing.
