Bird in Hand, Stockport

I was dressed way too smartly for this pub at 5:30 on a Friday. I was wearing jeans and a shirt whereas tracksuits seem to be the norm in here. The pub itself is L shaped and the walls have a large number of old photos of Hazel Grove. There's a dartboard and there's also a covered beer garden to the rear. The only cask beer available was Robinsons Unicorn, I ordered a half and was served a brown sludge smelling of vinegar. I ended up with a half of fizz. The barmaid didn't turn the pump clip round though. This is a Robbies pub but it won't be around much longer on this showing. Very poor.

A pretty standard Robinson's pub. The usual suspects are available.

Called in on the 22nd of Feb nice little pub customers friendly like alto of these tied houses tiered and need a bit of TLC but over heads are to much to spend on that sort of stuff.Its un fair but as long as there paying the rent the breweries are happy. Will call back
