The Obediah Brooke is a Wetherspoons pub that is almost opposite Cleckheaton town hall. Once inside there is a L shaped room,the bar is on the right side,the seating in the bar area is tall tables and chairs,the rear left area is raised,the seating here is normal tables and chairs. There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Rudgate Aunty Carol which was quite a nice drink,the other beers i noted were Rudgate Chocolate Stout,Old Speckled Hen and GK IPA,there were more guest beers i failed to note. This is a pleasant enough Spoons that was very busy on my mid Friday afternoon visit. Pub visited 2/1/2015

Not the largest pub in the Wetherspoons empire,but nevertheless it was clean and tidy with a good selection of cask beers on offer,of which the Toad Brewery's Golden Angel was certainly up for the challenge.
