Watermans Arms, Pembroke

Two room place, fairly recently done-out in bright light tones inside and a very IKEA feel. Despite the upmarket look you enter to a pool table and a throng of locals blocking the bar. The star of the show is the outside terrace with enviable views of the Mill Pond and castle. Two pumps at the bar serving-up Old Rosie cider and a cloudy Pedigree (NBSS 1.5) which was still lively so presumably it just hadn't dropped or (more likely) been knocked in the cellar. Cheap though. The view aside, not much to write home about really.
