The Cock & Bull, Sutton

The address of this pub gives the game away – it’s housed in a converted bank. In fact everything about it is typical of a Fuller’s high street bank conversion pub – the usual standard seating, the usual nondescript decor, and the usual sort of food on offer. But it did have ESB, Pride, Chiswick and Discovery on, and it did have some seating outside that was very welcome on a warm sunny day when I found myself in Sutton by mistake. It’s really not worth the effort of finding, but there are worse places in this part of the world to stop off for a pint if you find yourself in Sutton in need of one.
