The Lambton Worm, North Lodge, Chester Le Street

Only enter this pub if you have strong stomach! The food (SUnday lunch) was absolutely intolerable. The veg was mush, potatoes hard the yorkshire pudding was burned to a crisp and the drinks were watered down so much I questioned what I was drinking. When I complained, the manager arrived, offered no apology, took the plates away, came back and sait 'the waiter said the food is fine'!! They still charged us for the food albeit a small portion as opposed to large.
