The Man of Kent, Tonbridge

Visited 09/02/26. Visited previously 01/12/21. Cask was two hand pumps providing Harvey's Sussex Best & Tribute. Keg offering was Guinness, Amstel, Fosters, Stowford Press, Moretti. This is a carpeted U-shaped side street venue with the bar counter following the inside shape of the venue. Tall stool seating at the bar counter and the locals plus me was where the concentration of human capital was located on my visit. Regular tables and chairs either side of the bar counter in the front part of the venue, a log burner over on the right-hand wall not lit on my visit. TV's showing music videos on my mid-evening visit but no volume that instead provided by an entirely different soundtrack. There is a seating area behind the bar counter up a couple of steps with regular tables and chairs. Pretty low ceiling with beams not much above my height and a rear beer garden not in play on my visit. Quaint venue, nothing special but having just come from the Nelson Arms, everything is non-league in that match-up!!
