The Beartown Tap, Congleton

This is a small terraced pub with several rooms. You enter into the bar area and then there is another room at the rear and to the left. While I was there I overheard the barman talking about it closing for a refurbishment. The six hand pumps had five Beartown beers and Flipside Dusty Penny. I went for the Dusty Penny (£3.20) and the Ginger Bear (£3.05) both of which were excellent. This is another good Congleton pub that is well worth going to and is GBG 2017 listed.

Surprisingly the only pub on my Congleton visit that actually sold Beartown Brewery ales. Good pub.
