The Hero, King's Lynn

The Hero has only just re-opened after an extensive refurbishment. It's a traditional building which has been transformed into an identikit Norfolk gastropub with a large dining room, a sterile bar, a rear terrace and some tables at the front. The menu was uninspiring and the service friendly but what can only politely be described as clueless. Beers on were a very good Grain 3.1.6 and Woodforde's Wherry. It's in the right place and is, I believe, owned by an experienced publican, but if the service isn't sorted out quickly then it simply won't last as they're not organised enough to actually sell anything. Worth a stop if you're passing for the 3.1.6 alone.
