Du Cane Arms, Witham

We still can't believe just how good this restaurant is, the menus are always so interesting, and use local produce! We have been back maybe 30 times and are never disappointed. Recommended, miss this at your peril!

Very nice pub in the middle of nowhere,Best to advise your bank manager before you go so as he can arange a loan for you.Adnams £3.60 a pint...2 beers and a coke £10.05.These prices are killing the local pubs as who can afford that.

We opted for the Du Cane's 'Date the Chef'. Simply a the most unique dining experience, 6 incredible mouthwatering courses complemented by beautiful wines and knowledgeable staff. Cooked in our home we had to provide nothing more than wine glasses and company. Very reasonably priced for such a banquet with ample wine, the food was something to behold. We could not recommend this service more highly.

Is it a pub or a restaurant, who cares its good in all departments, they sell good farmers ales, good local food at reasonable prices. Lunch is excellent and a tenner for a good meal hard to beat, dinner yes we have been several times since our first visit, a bit more pricey. The specials look like food off the telly little works of edible art, really really tasty. Excellent service really friendly and bubbly. If your looking for an excellent restaurant or a great pub look no further.
