The Sun Inn, Waltham Abbey

The Sun is on the pedestrianised shopping street in the middle of Waltham Abbey. This is a smallish pub and i was'nt expecting this pub to that good once inside,it was quite nice inside with a beamed ceiling. There was only one real ale on the bar this was Old Speckled Hen this was ok but not really to my taste. Pub visited 10/5/2003

Good town pub with a warm welcome, nice atmosphere and well kept beers. Not the perfect pub as the previous reviewer (praising her own pub with her sole review?) that's just bloody silly as the perfect pub simply does not exist outside my over-fertile imagination, however it is a realistic 'above average'.
