White Hart, Truro

The White Hart is L-shaped with a tiled and wooden floor and a serving counter left rear that faces padded bench seating under the front windows and up the right-hand wall. There’s a fireplace on the left wall and in the right rear snug where there’s a large wooden table and more padded benches. Fairy lights run across the ceiling beams. Two of the five hand pumps were in use drawing Sharp’s Sea Fury and Fuller’s London Pride. A limited keg selection of Carling, Carlsberg, Cruzcampo, San Miguel, Guinness and a couple of Thatchers ciders were also available. The service was very friendly and there was a decent atmosphere generated by the ten or so locals. A proper boozer, however I did walk past later in the evening, just before 20:30, to find the lights all out.

The White Hart is a decent looking pub that is close to Truro Cathedral. Bar faces is a single L shaped room which is part carpeted and bare boarded,there is bench seating and normal tables and chairs. We had a drink of St Austell Tribute,which went down well,the other real ales were Exmoor Gold,London Pride and Doom Bar. The pub does food but we were in at opening time,quiet background music was playing. We thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 14/8/2017
