The Lismore, Glasgow

Tenement corner pub with a strong Highland connection. Some traditional fittings in the exposed stone front bar and some more modern stained glass windows which look very nice – apparently the pub has only been open since the mid 90s which I found surprising. Purple rear room with its own smaller (non-cask) bar - unusual. Good mix of clientele rubbing along. Two ales on, Durham Stout (NBSS 3) and Orkney Viking (3.5) doing well on a hot day, so the GBG listing is justified. A shame I didn’t learn about the gents urinals until just now! 7.5
