The Adamson Hotel, Dunfermline

This is the small tile floored hotel bar of the Adamson Hotel, and it is very much a hotel bar. Found at the front of the building in front of reception, it’s L-shaped with seating up the right and an exposed brick marble topped counter up the left where standard and premium keg is available alongside Neck Oil. On the other side of the counter, to the left, is a much larger lounge where there was some low background music playing during my Tuesday afternoon check-in. The service was polite, but this isn’t somewhere I’d revisit if I wasn’t booked into the hotel.

The place is a family run business, which is situated, in the small village of Crossford about a mile from Dunfermline. There is live music, karaoke and various entertainment in the bar and function suite. On a Sunday there is a quiz night which is the longest running quiz in Fife.
