The Tartan Tavern, Oban

Small and friendly bar on the southbound one-way system through Oban. The small room is fairly simply decorated and includes a few Scotland rugby shirts and scarves with a TV screen, which presumably shows live sports. A handful of locals were sat at the bar. I took up residence in one of the 4 or 5 tables. Some kind of festive tree spouting out festive tunes was triggered into life by anybody entering or exiting the toilets at the far end of the bar. Real ale is no longer available here. The keg selection was Kopparberg, Aspalls, Tennent's Lager, Madri, Menabria, Belhaven Best, Budweiser, Heverlee & Guinness.
