Cross Inn Hotel, Pontyclun

I'm not sure if this pub is named after the village it is located in, or vice versa. Either way, it was fairly busy on my Wednesday lunchtime visit. I entered the pub from the car park at the rear, which was almost full. There is a small outdoor patio area behind the pub. Inside, a single room is sub-divided, with one half for drinkers and the other for diners. In reality, the two were intermingling. It is carpeted and has a fairly cosy feel. Featuring in the Good Beer Guide, the pub serves 3 cask ales. HPA is the regular beer. Guests on for my visit were Sea Fury & Cwrw Gorslas.
