The Cambrian, Aberdare

Interesting times. The previous manager did a runner a few weeks ago, and a decent guy has taken it over. I passed there earlier on and one of the windows was boarded up. It might take a little while for it to turn round, judging from that. Still, we'll see what the future holds.

I'd not been there for a few years; back then it was a good pub, clean, good food and no idiots. My oh my its changed, your feet stick to the carpet, the outside area was littered with cigarette ends and the place stunk. What a shame.

I'm afraid I have to retract my previous statement. It's now under new management. He's a nice feller, but prices have gone through the roof! I met a mate of mine in there yesterday and we paid well over six quid for a lager and a cider. I don't think I'll be frequenting it again. Shame, as it's been under relief management for a while and lost a lot of regular trade. They're not going to make it up at this rate.
