Station Hotel, Abergavenny

Last of the GBG 2025 ticks we made. Check the opening times - 3pm on a weekend - 4pm on other days. Lots of friendly single blokes who had taken their dog for a walk.... single bar that opens out to the rear on the way to a sheltered (concrete) beer garden. This was the fifth pub I visited over two days. Everyone dispensing Wye Valley. My local is a Wye Valley. So I was looking forward to the Bass which is permanently on. Alas, my glass was half filled before the barell was prounced dead. A very good Butty Bach was thrown towards my very bored taste buds.
