The Red Lion, York

The Red Lion is on a small street just off fossgate it looks quite nice and old from the outside once inside the pub has been opened up but still has plenty of character to it there are three pumps on the bar which were Black Sheep Bitter,John Smiths cask and Deuchars IPA the John Smiths was a decent drink. There is a beer garden to the right of the pub and there was a group playing here on sunday afternoon 15/8/10.

Best Pub i've been in York for combination of character Nice friendly staff goo simple food. Watch out for the low beams !!
