The Brown Cow, York

A 2 roomed Samuel smiths pub that could do with a refurb.

The Brown Cow is a small pub that is on a side street just inside the city walls. There were two rooms in this pub the bar was to the left and a smaller seperate lounge was on the right,i went in the bar and this was a fairly basic room with bench seating and a pool table in it,there were a few mainly local drinkers in here. This pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house but there were no real ales in here i had a drink of keg Old Brewery bitter and this was a decent enough drink. I was happy enough in here but this is a locals pub and not a pub for tourists.
