The Royal, Sheffield

The Royal is a decent looking pub that is situated just off the market place and opposite the bus stops,so very handy if arriving in Woodhouse by bus. Once inside the pub has two seperate rooms,i had a drink in the left room which was the lounge,this room was irregular in shape,the seating was comfy bench type with small stools and chairs,the floor was carpeted and there was some wood panelling,the bar to the right was square shaped and had a raised area to the right,there was also a pool table in this room. There were four pumps on the bar with two unclipped and the other two having Tetley bitter on,i had a drink of this which went down well. There was some decent background music playing, the lounge was very busy with older blokes. I quite liked this pub. Pub visited 28/9/2013
