The Dragon Inn, Worcester

Been a while since I've been here, so it's hard to remember what it used to be like, but there's a definite Black Country Ale vibe about the place, with the carpet and tables dotted around. As for the beer: a couple of Thornbridge ales supplement those from Church End who run the place. My pint of Vicar's Ruin Extra Pale really wasn't up to much and I wasn't inclined to order a second of anything. A shame. I'd hoped it would be better.

Another decent Worcester pub run by Church End. Table service is in practice here. But a trip to the bar was necessary to check out the beer range. Church End beers were Stout Coffin, Goat's Milk, Arthur's Ale, Brewer's Truth, What The Fox's Hat & Vicar's Ruin. A guest beer was Ledbury Pale and the cider was Barbourne Cherry Burst, a new one for me. With a pleasant indoor area, further seating upstairs and a garden at the rear, there is plenty of space to relax here.
