New Inn, Wetherby

No cask beer available at the time of my visit. The pub is closing at the end of May for a refurbishment, locally rumoured to be a Slug & Lettuce, which is hard to imagine.

The New Inn is a decent looking stone built pub that had plenty of hanging baskets outside. Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which is carpeted,the bar is to the left side,the seating is comfy bench type and small stools and a few normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table in a separate area behind the bar,which is served from the same bar. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Cask which was a decent drink,the other beers were Doom Bar and an house beer called New Inn Pale Ale. The TVs were showing horse racing and some decent looking food was being served. The pub was very busy on my Saturday dinner visit. I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in.
