The Crossed Shuttle is a Wetherspoons pub that is situated in the middle of Pudsey. It looks like an original pub from the outside and is probably the Black Bull that has been converted into a Spoons. Once inside there is an L shaped room with the bar on the left side,there are seating bays opposite the bar and bench seating to the front. There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Lymestone Stone Cutter which went down very well,the other beers i noted were Leeds best,Banks & Taylor Dragon Slayer,Ridgeside Porter plus one from Ilkley brewery and the usuall Spoons regulars. I thought this was quite a nice Wetherspoons pub. Pub visited 4/4/2015

Friday fish and chips with a pint was very good and shuttle was nice and warm,staff very helpful and friendly

this pub has been a god send for us of the disabled community. it is cozy, it has wheelchair access, a ramp and hand rail into the place and a disabled toilet on the ground floor. it ticks all the boxes for me and has now become my local. thankyou whitherspoons for actually taking the not so abled body into mind when designing this place.

Not the largest Wetherspoons by a long chalk but nevertheless a fine job has been undertaken on the pub's interior.I found ths pub smart,clean,the barstaff efficient and seemed to have a more cosy atmosphere than a lot of the JDW pubs,which i think was helped by the open fire and the low ceiling.On a slightly less positive note i think there could be quite a bit of congestion around the bar area at busy times.Quite liked it in here,and comparing the pub to a football team it would probably be a mid table premier league team.

This new Wetherspoons opened on Sunday 23rd January 2011. In another life it was previously called the Black Bull. Wetherspoons have started from scratch and you are impressed as soon as you enter the place,clean, new and fresh. Its the usual winning formula of a good range of well kept ales at reasonable prices, what more can an old ale cart wish for.
